Reinstalling The Humanity
There is a beautiful course of actions in Dhamma which Lord Buddha has introduced; as ‘friendliness’ (maitri), ‘loving kindness’ (karuna), ‘sympathy in other's welfare’ (mudita) and ‘equanimity’ (upeksha). In today’s world, most people do not have any fear to kill, or to steal, or to tell lies. But, those actions will lead the younger generations and the whole society towards annihilation by increasing of the crimes.
Therefore, good habits and virtuous deeds must be taught to younger generations. They must be taught to respect elders and parents; to protect their traditions and cultural customs; to treat humans and all living beings well. Also, they must be taught the ways to enjoy life without killing, without lying, and without consuming any intoxicated matter. Then, a wonderful society will be created within us.
